FAQ

Questions parents ask

家长最常问的问题
My child has never danced before — can they join?

Yes. Most students start with no experience. Classes are grouped by age and level, and beginners are given extra guidance in the first weeks.

What age can my child start?

From age 3 for Pre-school Ballet. Dance styles such as jazz and most Chinese dance classes usually start from age 5.

Is the first class really free?

Yes — every new student gets a free trial class with no obligation. Book it here.

Do you hold exams?

Ballet students may sit Comdance graded examinations. It is optional: some families choose exams and others prefer to enjoy classes and the annual concert.

Is there a concert?

Yes. We hold an annual concert where every student has the chance to perform on stage, plus community performances during the year.

Can my child study ballet and Chinese dance together?

Absolutely — it is one of the best combinations, because the strength and technique from ballet supports Chinese dance. Multi-class discounts apply.

What if we miss a lesson?

Please let us know in advance. Term fees are non-refundable, and make-up classes are offered where a suitable class is available.
